Elizabeth Jane Thompson

Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Thompson, 95, of Lafayette, IN formerly of Medicine Lodge, KS, our angel, left this world June 16, 2015. She was born in Manhattan, KS on December, 25, 1919 to the late DW and Marjorie Cook Skinner. She married J. Harry Thompson in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1989. Elizabeth attended Stephens College and Wichita State University. She was active in the United Methodist Church in Lake City, KS, Deerhead Circle in Deerhead, KS and The Order of the Eastern Star. Elizabeth was an avid horsewoman with a gentle soul and always had a smile on her face. She attended Immanuel United Church of Christ in Lafayette, IN. She enjoyed her friendships in the Rosebud Club. She was the greatest blessing in our lives. Surviving is her son, Pat H. Thompson of Scottsdale, AZ., daughter, Mickey K. Dickinson (late husband Russell Dickinson) of Lafayette, IN. Four granddaughters Kamey Crowley (Husband Sean), Stacy Dickinson (Husband Bruce Hill), Robyn Beaver (Husband Ronald), Ashley Happ (Husband Jonathan) and twelve very active great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9-11 am Saturday at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Lafayette. Service will be at 11 am Saturday at Immanuel United Church of Christ. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge, KS.
