I did not know Vanessa personally, but I work at St. Vincent in Indy and I am her sister in faith. I just wanted to express my sincere condolences to the family and reaffirm that soon God has promised that soondeath will be no more. However, until that time, Jehovah has promised to be a God of comfort and to be with us during all of our tribulations. May you all take comfort in him and have faith in all of his promises. Agape&

Vanessa and I were in marching band together. Her sophomore year of high school, I was her section leader and drum major. I remember one day during the second week of band camp when she was a freshman. A lot of the other girls in the flute line were still struggling to get the hang of everything, and Vanessa (even though she was a freshman herself) stepped up during practice in an effort to help out everyone else. Vanessa was a hard worker, but more importantly, she had a great attitude. I could always count on her larger-than-life smile and her contagious laughter. She always, and I mean always, put everyone in a wonderful mood.

Vanessa was like a light in the dark. No matter who you were or how your day was going, she would always brighten it up. Whether it was with a funny story or her incredible optimism, she constantly made a positive impact on those around her.

I am truly sorry for your loss. My heart ached when I heard the news. Though Vanessa and I didn&t remain in touch after high school, I always remembered her fondly. Vanessa was an absolutely wonderful ray of sunshine. The world will be a little bit darker without her, but Heaven will be a little bit brighter.

Ms Gomez sorry for your loss. I only got to meet you one time in Indianapolis and it was at St Vincent hospital. I am friends with Vanessa and many of the friends in different spanish congregations. So I would get to see her quite often. I tried to keep in contact as best as possible. She is a very beautiful woman inside and out. She will be deeply missed. The turnout for her funeral service definitely showed how many lives she touched. Glad I got to make it at least to the funeral service and give you a hug. I know at times like these there isnt much to say execpt to be supportive by a hug and by our presence. Once again sorry for your loss. We&ll get to see Vanessa in the future :) Right now she is just resting. Thank goodness for that hope!

Queridos hermanos;

Gutierrez

Dear Family of Vanessa:

Thank you for the witness which you gave us through the words of I Peter in Vanessa&s obituary! I am privileged to have been a colleague of hers at St. Vincent-Frankfort. She was always ready with a warm smile and reaching out to those around her with her positive attitude. Her absence will leave a big empty spot in our world!

I was so devastated when I received a phone call earlier about Vanessa&s passing. She and I went through high school at Lafayette Jeff together and were Drum Majors for the Marching Band. Vanessa was the most kind, friendly, and bubbly person I have met. Her smile was absolutely contagious and she always had a kind word for anyone. I can still remember her enthusiasm during the Marching Band season and how she was vital in our making State that year through her leadership and great attitude. I regret that I didn&t keep in touch with her after high school, but am happy for the wonderful memories I have of her. I am truly sorry for your loss and for the loss of such a wonderful young woman and friend. She will truly be missed.

We love you Vanessa and we will miss your smiling face sweetheart. Love you always, Lori Aldridge (Mother of Keiley Aldridge)

I&m so very sorry about this loss. She was such a special student to me. I&m so very thankful that I was able to visit with her Tuesday. I will cherish that forever. What a huge bundle of joy she brought into everyone&s life that knew her. She was the first person to ever call my husband Paul, ""Mr. Clean"". They had so much fun teasing each other. I feel like she was ""my girl"" having had her from 5th grade through high school. She will absolutely always be a part of my life.

In times like these, there are no words to say of the feelings that we all have inside. But the only one thing I can say is that Vanessa was a faithful servant to our Jehovah God. Jehovah will never forget her and will reward her faithfulness soon. That day is close, closer than we can imagine, and soon, we will welcome her back. For now, we can return all the love and devotion to Vanessa by doing exactly what she did: stay &Firm and Faithful&.
And soon we will be great expectators of the wonderful promise that is described in Revelation 21:3,4, ""Death will be no more"". Vanessa&s faith has inspire a whole community - her faith by action says more than just words.

We love Vanessa dearly and we will work with enthusiasm to welcome her back in the New System ruled by Jesus Christ and Jehovah God that is near and closer than ever. (soon to come)
