Dwayne I. Balser Jr., 58, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Franciscan Health  East, Lafayette.

He was born March 10, 1964, in Lancaster, OH to Dwayne and Donna (Converse) Balser. After high school, Dwayne worked as a self-employed roofer. On October 1, 1988, he married Amanda Burns in Lafayette, and she survives.

Dwayne enjoyed fishing, playing video games especially Fort Nite which was his favorite, gardening, and mushroom hunting. He especially cherished time spend with his family.

Along with his wife, Amanda Balser, he is survived by his 5 children, Eric D. (Taylor) Balser, Dustin L. (companion, Randee) Balser, Shawn D. (companion, Deliah) Balser, Megan N. Balser, and Makayla Balser, all of Lafayette; father, Dwayne I. Balser Sr. of Lafayette; 3 sisters, Theresa (companion, Scott Cline) Young, Sherry (John) Clouse, both of Lafayette, and Kim (Bill) Porter of OH.

Dwayne was preceded in death by mother, Donna M. Balser.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.,  Lafayette, IN 47909 with Father David Buckles officiating.
