Donna Marie Kenney, 98, of West Lafayette, passed away on September 25, 2024, surrounded by loving family members. She was married to the love of her life, Paul Kenney, for 52 years. Their three daughters, Mary Kenney, Paula Woods and Alberta Lathan (Don Lathan) and her granddaughter Elizabeth Woods were the center of their lives.
Donna was a teacher for many years and an active volunteer in her church and community, including the YWCA domestic violence shelter in Lafayette. She was a kind and generous and outgoing soul, who brightened every life she touched.
A memorial service is planned for 11:00 am, Monday, September 30th, at Federated Church in West Lafayette, with visitation at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greater Lafayette YWCA.

My deepest sympathy to Alberta and your Sisters. Alberta is a frequent and loved visitor to Ireland. We met in County Wexford in August for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann. Alberta -as always - spoke so fondly of her Mom; or 'Mammy' as we say in these parts.
