Donald Jay Lucas, 60, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, at his home.  He was born July 17, 1962, in Lafayette to the late Paul Lucas and Geraldine (Roof) Killian.  On January 25, 2009, he married Anna (Wilson) Dillon in Lafayette, and she survives.  Donnie worked for SIA for 25 years.  He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, fishing and making native American jewelry.

Surviving along with his wife are his children Megan Lucas of Indianapolis, Kayla (Jonathan) George of Lafayette, stepsons Brandon Long, Andrew Dillon both of Lafayette, nine grandchildren and a great grandson.

Also surviving are his siblings Vickie (Benjamin) Rivera of Lafayette, Jane (Dave) Stiles of Monticello, Lea Kiefer of Lafayette, Paul (Sandy) Lucas Jr. of Delphi, stepfather Thomas Killian of Lafayette, sister-in-law Pauletta (Tim) Gamblin of Kokomo, several nieces and nephews.  Donnie was preceded in death by siblings Charles Harris Jr., Jimmy Jennings, Judy Jo Jennings, Katharine Ann Killian, Jerilyn Williams and mother-in-law Theresa Ewing.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at 7:00 pm on Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.
