Diego Jose Orozco, 18, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, in Lafayette.  He was born on September 24, 2006, in Lafayette, IN, to Jose and Adriana (Salazar) Orozco.

Diego enjoyed playing soccer, watching sports, and spending time with his loved ones.

Diego was deeply loved, his family having so many plans for him. Though his time with them was far too short, they will continue writing his story.

Surviving along with his parents is his daughter; Eliana A. Orozco Luna of Lafayette, Siblings; Nathaly Orozco (Kaity), Stephanie Orozco, Xavier Orozco all of Lafayette. He is also survived by 1 niece Adeleya Morales.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Matias Ismael Orozco Luna and grandmother, Alicia Salazar.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Rosary will be at 7:30pm.  Mass of Chrisian Burial will be 12:30 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament,  2224 Sacramento Drive, West Lafayette, Father Daniel Shine officiating.  Interment will be at St. Boniface Cemetery Lafayette in Lafayette.
