Demetria K. Oberle, 63, of West Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at her home.  She was born on January 30, 1963, in Lafayette, IN, to Barbara (Williamson) Bushong of Logansport and the late William D. Bushong.

Demetria graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1981.  On October 22, 2003, she married John L. Oberle Jr.  in Lafayette and he survives.  Demetria enjoyed sewing, crafts and puzzles.

Surviving along with her husband are her children Shane A. Bushong of Battle Ground, Desiree (Cory) Bryant of Lafayette, grandchildren Elexis (Caleb) Sell, Jared (Jordan) Nault, Montana Bushong, Kadince Bushong, Grayson Bushong, Declan Bushong, great grandchildren Lennox, Carter, Kazlynn, Kalani and Malik Jr.  Also surviving are her siblings Darin S. (Kathleen) Bushong of Fort Myers, FL and Denise (Carmen) Bushong of Logansport, IN.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.  Interment will be at West Point Cemetery in West Point, IN.
