I have always admired Uncle Del’s ongoing pursuit of knowledge regarding nature and science. His curiosity and understanding of the world was an inspiration to many. What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. Thinking of you as you celebrate the extraordinary life of Uncle Del.

Del always made me feel accepted into the family when I married Carl Rowley(brother to Marji Arvin). At our wedding, my mother had terminal lung cancer. Del escorted her down the aisle with such gentleness and respect. It was always a quiet, act of kindness from Del…a touch of selfless humility. One I treasure & will never forget.
I hope to,pass on his love of nature and teach others respect, simplicity, and humility.
He and Marji raised a good family for which we are grateful.

It was an honor to know Del, he was always a warm, friendly person at the family reunions and we enjoyed talking with him and the family.
We were very saddened to hear of Del's being placed into hospice care and now of his passing.
