David Neville Wolf, 85, of Mulberry, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.

He was born November 23, 1938, in Romney, to the late Marion and Minnie (Deacon) Wolf.

David graduated from Romney High School and proudly served in the United States Navy.

On December 28, 1956, he married Sarah Foster in Crawfordsville. She preceded him in death on June 8, 2022.

David worked at Rea Magnet Wire for 39 years before retiring.

He was a member of Community Reformed Church, the Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star and enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and making wine. David found that he was closes to God when he was enjoying nature.

Surviving is a son, Mike (wife Becky) Wolf of Clarks Hill, a daughter, Terry (husband Ramon) Avila of Yorktown and a sister, Vicki Sherwin of CO. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by three sisters, Lavonne Bridwell, Judy Reamer and Beverly Switzer and two brothers, Richard and William Wolf.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at on Friday April 26, 2024 from 5:30 until 7:30 pm at Community Reformed Church, 2501 S. 18th St. Lafayette, IN. Friends are welcome to share and remember David at that time.

Was sad to hear of Dave’s passing. Dave and his Family were next door neighbors to the Owens Family in Romney way before Mike and Terry were born. My Dad grew up with Dave’s Siblings and we played with their kids, Spent many days playing at Minnie & Pete’s with Dave and Sarah living next door. The Wolf’s were good neighbors.
