David L. Strong, 77, of Lafayette, passed away at 11:34 am Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at his home.
He was born March 17, 1938, in Lafayette, to the late Tilford “Duke” and Effie Johnson Strong.
David retired in 2000 from Purdue University from the custodial department.
He enjoyed watching Purdue University Football and Basketball.
Surviving are two brothers, Larry Strong and Bennie Strong (wife Cheryle) and two sisters, Margaret Briscoe and Bessie Snapp all of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Dayton Cemetery where he will be buried.
