David B. Harrington, 55, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, at IU Health Arnett Hospital.  He was born November 12, 1970, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Claude and Dana (King) Harrington of Lafayette.

David graduated from McCutcheon High School and received associates degrees from Purdue University and Ivy Tech.  On December 14, 1996, he married Leslie Patch in Lafayette and she survives.  David was a member of the Plumbers Local 187 and was currently working for IU Health.  He was a also a member of Abolafia MC and had been a Volunteer with the Shadeland Fire Department.  David was a gunsmith and enjoyed motorcycle riding, cooking and video games.

Surviving along with his wife is his stepdaughter Heather A. (Cecil) Akers of Monticello and a sister Cristine L. (Alan) Holtman of Battle Ground.  Also surviving 3 grandchildren, 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in David’s memory.
