Danielle Marie Linder, 45, of Lafayette, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2023, surrounded by family at IU Health Arnett Hospital after a 25 year battle with kidney disease.  She was born July 15, 1978, in Lafayette to Steve and Lisa Nydegger. Danielle graduated from McCutcheon High School in 1996.

Danielle found happiness doing anything her family enjoyed and was the sunshine of many lives. There was nothing more important to her than watching her sons thrive in their personal lives, academics, and athletics. Danielle loved being “MaeMae” to her one year old grandson, Cohen, and “DD” to her nieces. She spent much of her time outdoors with family, swimming, boating, and soaking up the sun.

Surviving is her mother, Lisa A. Nydegger (Barton); her sons, Braiden D. (Allie) Linder, Drew T. Linder (Fiancé Marlye Cochran), and Dylan A. Linder; her grandson, Cohen D. Linder; and her niece, Mackenzie L. (Matthew) Hufford, who she always viewed as a daughter. Also surviving are her siblings Kristen L. (Rick) O’Connor, Jake T. (Caitlin) Nydegger, and many nieces and nephews, all of Lafayette.

Danielle was preceded in death by her father, Steve W. Nydegger.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Interment will be at Johnson Cemetery in Stockwell, IN.
