It is with Profound sadness that we share the passing of Dana Lee Buckles, who left us unexpectedly on January 10, 2025, at the age of 59.
She was born on October 13, 1965, in Lafayette to Nancy J Banta. She was a 1984 graduate of McCutcheon High School. She married her high school sweetheart Mark S Buckles on May 12, 1984, he survives. Dana worked for Wal-Mart for 26 years as an accountant until she retired.
Dana was a woman with the strength of many and loved with her whole heart. She spent the majority of her time with her grandchildren and crocheted in her free time. She also had a love for collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.
If you were a part of her life, she made sure to make you feel all the love.
Along with her husband Mark, she is survived by 2 children, Thomas Buckles and Megan (Curtis) Ventresca of Lafayette; 2 granddaughters, Kali Love and Holly Love; and 2 sisters, Terri Charles of Lafayette, and Amanda Smith of Avon.
Dana was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy (Jackson) Banta; her grandmother, Jane Louis Dargis; and her in-laws, Donald and Nancy Buckles Jr.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.
Service will be at 10:00 am, Monday, January 20, 2025, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, In 47909.
Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 West 350 North, West Lafayette, IN 47909.
