Cindy (King) Reagan, born August 31, 1971, in Youngstown, Ohio, passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 55.
Cindy was born to the late William King and Veronika Walker. She married her husband, John Reagan, on November 28, 1997, and he survives.
Along with her husband and mother, Cindy is survived by her children, Preston, Zachary, and Corina (Nick), and her grandchildren, William, Alexis, Makenzie, Braxton, Aria, and Anniston. She is also survived by her siblings, Robert (Mary) Bailey, Judy (Roger Sr.) Burton, James (Melissa) Kohn, Rodney (Sherry) Kohn, and Kira Walker; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William King, her stepfather, Timothy Walker, her beloved brother, William (Bill) King, and her nephew, Roger Burton Jr.
Cindy became a mother at just 15 years old, beginning a role that would shape so much of her life. She was one of a kind and loved her family deeply. She wasn’t afraid to have a little attitude, and anyone who knew Cindy knew she would tell you exactly what she thought.
But perhaps the most special version of Cindy was being Nina.
With her grandchildren, Cindy was a big kid herself. They shared countless inside jokes and so much laughter. She would sit down with them for a game of cards, a board game, or dominoes, and she genuinely enjoyed simply being with them. She played with them, did crafts with them, laughed with them, and created the kind of memories that become even more precious with time. Her grandchildren weren’t just part of her life—they were some of the greatest joys in it.
Cindy loved her dogs, Winnie the Pooh, and a really good glass of sweet tea. She loved Jesus and worked to carry Him close throughout her life.
Cindy also worked as a driver for her family’s freight company, where she drove a box truck. She was hardworking, capable, and never afraid to get behind the wheel and get the job done.
Cindy wasn’t someone who tried to be anything other than who she was. She was sometimes stubborn, sometimes full of attitude, often funny, and always genuine. Those who loved her knew all of those pieces of her—and loved her for them.
Cindy will be loved, remembered, talked about, laughed about, and missed more than words can say.
A visitation and viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 pm at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909 where family and friends are invited to gather and remember Cindy.
