Connie Sue Johnson, 63, of Robinsville, NC, passed at 9:45 PM Thursday, October 3, 2013 at her mother – in – laws residence. She was born November 11, 1949, in Columbus, IN to Mary Burton Moore of Columbus, IN and the late Ronald Eugen Moore. On September 30, 2003 she married Kerry Johnson in Bradenton, FL and he survives. Connie enjoyed wood working, watching birds, bowling and growing plants. Surviving along with her husband and mother is a son Todd Freeman (wife Amy) of Rossville; a step daughter Layla Stout (husband John) of Palm Coast, FL; three brothers Bob Moore and Bill Moore both of Columnbus, IN, Kevin Moore of Wachula, FL; a step – sister Karla Peffley of Lafayette; six grandchildren – Cassandra, Tori, Dawson, Madison, Demi and Makayla; and her mother-in-law Joyce Johnson of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by a sister Judy Dalton. The family will hold private services.
