Cohyn Rex Van Allen, infant son of Melissa Dondlinger and Gentry Van Allen, was dead at birth at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2010, at St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette.
Surviving with his parents are a brother, Brody Dondlinger, and a sister, Ayva Dondlinger.
Also surviving are grandparents, Robina and Jim Miller, Karla and Vern Van Allen; great grandparents, Shirley and Jim Hahn, Shirley and Rich Van Allen; aunt, Courtney Van Allen; uncle, Trace Van Allen; and a cousin, Parker Van Allen. Preceded in death by great-grandparents, Altha and Lee Bruner, Hatti Miller; an uncle, Aron Miller; and an aunt, Jamie Miller-Crump.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
