Clark L. Farris, 58, of Lafayette, died on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at St. Elizabeth East ER. He was born July 10, 1955, in Mt. Ayr, Iowa, to the late Harold and Catherine Thomas Farris. He graduated from Seeger Memorial High School in 1974 and Purdue University with a BS in 2004. On June 28,1975 he married Kathleen A. Waterstraat in Williamsport and she survives. Clark worked as a mechanical engineer for the Donaldson Corporation. He enjoyed reading, sketching, soft jazz music, but mostly he enjoyed the time with his grandchildren whom he loved so much. Surviving along with his wife are two daughters Suzanne Bunnell (Jeremy) and Amanda Carter (William); a son Jason Farris all of Lafayette; a brother David Farris (Theresa) of Columbus, a sister Eileen Jones of Oklahoma; three grandchildren Haley, and Hunter Carter, and Marisa Mullen. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with Rev. J. William Overbay officiating.
