Christina E. (Biggs) McCurdy, 60, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at her residence.

She was born November 3, 1965, in Terre Haute, IN, to Dorothy (Long) Biggs of Lafayette and the late Claude “Ed” Biggs.

Christina graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School with the class of 1984 and then Lafayette Beauty Academy.

In 2007, she married Sean McCurdy. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2016.

Christina last worked as a Manager for the Walmart Vision Center in West Lafayette.

Christina loved spending time with her family, traveling, crocheting, coloring and Lego’s.

Surviving with her mother, Dorothy Sue Biggs of Lafayette, IN, is a daughter, Jennifer (Shane) Landis of Lafayette, IN, Siblings, Ed (Stacey) Biggs of Crawfordsville, IN, Connie Biggs of Lafayette, IN, Eric (Joy) Biggs of Lafayette, IN, and Charity (Tom) Thelen of Holland, MI. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Christina was preceded in death by her father, Claude “Ed” Biggs, husband, Sean McCurdy, and a daughter, Ashley Johnson.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Rev. Joseph Park Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow at Meadow View Cemetery in Lafayette, IN.
