Wm Baugh left a message on September 29, 2012:
...........A life well lived and in addition to his family, our community has benifited so much as a result to his kindness and interest. I was director of the county historical at the time of creating Fort Ouiatenon Park and later the development of the Tippecanoe Battle Field. Charley along with Mick and Joe Rush met so many challenges and solved problems that furthered the projects of bringing these parks together. As a result of those years in the 1970&s. The Wabash River Trail which was launched in 1976 , running from the Battlefield to Ouiatenon was completed last year. This simply would not have happened as soon as it has had it not been for them.

May the future bring blessings to you all and increased devotion to the acomplishments of his life. We pass once across this stage, we call life. Charley has cast a long shadow on that stage and we all benifit.

Sincerely
Wm Baugh
