Charles A. Lively, 82, of Delphi died at his home at 11:20 am, Thursday, May 4, 2017 with his family by his side.
He was born February 28, 1935 in Lafayette to the late George and Hilda (Manis) Lively. He was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School and an U.S. Army Veteran, having served from 1954 – 1957. He married Dorothy “Dot” Pantle on May 16, 1957 in Lafayette. She preceded him in death on April 20, 2010. Charles worked as a local industry laborer for Duncan Electric 40 years, retiring in 1993.
He enjoyed woodworking and photography.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Steven M. Lively, Matthew (Cami) Lively of Delphi, John Lively of Delphi; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Along with his wife and his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Charles “Charlie” Lively Jr.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Seceder Cemetery in Burnettsville with Rev. Timothy Stewart officiating. Interment will immediately follow.
