Vicki and Janet left a message on August 15, 2022:
Debra and your entire family, please accept our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers on the death of Carolyn. We only knew her for a year, but it was such an honor to bring her Holy Communion and pray and visit with her each Sunday. If she wasn't involved in working on a new puzzle, she was anxious to talk about the family she loved and was proud of. When she was elected "PRESIDENT" of the residents group at White Oaks, we enjoyed teasing her about her new-found position. Her last months were filled with more aches and pains than usual, but together we worked on offering these crosses to her "Best Friend" who lovingly died for her. She often slept with the little blessed pin we gave her during Lent, reflecting on the message "You are not alone. I am with you always." It appeared to give her great comfort. Carolyn can now enjoy the rewards promised by Jesus for being a good and faithful servant. You can be assured of our prayers and Masses offered for her intention. God give you comfort and peace during these difficult times. Janet and Vicki Eucharistic Ministers from Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church
