Carolyn Ann Corbin, 78

Carolyn Ann Corbin, 78, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at IU Health Arnett Hospital.  She was born June 3, 1944, in Lafayette, Indiana, to the late Melvin and Mary (Gas) Cline. On November 26, 1977, she married John C. Corbin Sr. in Lafayette and he passed away March 18, 2010.  Carolyn worked at Rostone for many years.

She was a member of Wea Ridge Baptist Church and Lady of Light Young at Heart group.  Carolyn enjoyed working puzzles, flowers and loved spending time with her family and helping at the church.

Surviving are her children Shirley (John) Byrd, Charlotte Slaughterbeck, John (Tammi) Corbin, John C. (Nancy) Corbin, II, Peggy Scott, Sarah Corbin, Kenny Corbin, Ronnie Corbin, grandchildren, Chad Byrd, Michael Corbin, Kiley Corbin, Audra Byrd, Eric Martin, Brittney Martin, Cassie Slaughterbeck, Ava, Jessica (Kent), Rick, Krista (Joe), Jeremy, Jammie, Venessa and Amy, Jason (Richlyn) and several great and great great grandchildren.  Also surviving are siblings Wilma Knight, Bill Cline (Johnette) and sisters-in-laws Cindy and Judy.  Carolyn was preceded in death by a son Dennis Slaughterbeck, grandchildren Jacob C. Byrd, Mathew Martin and siblings Melvin Cline, Ronnie Cline, and Margaret Trinosky.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm unitil the time of the service at 2:00 pm on Friday at Soller- Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Pastor Dan Sager officiating.  Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Lafayette, IN.  Memorial contributions may be made to Wea Ridge Baptist Church in Carolyn’s memory.  You may leave condolences and memories at www.soller-baker.com
