Carol Sue DeRoque, 70, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at St. Mary’s Health Care, Lafayette.

She was born November 26, 1952, in Lafayette to the late Lloyd E. and Goldie L. (Bruce) Glass. She was a 1970 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Indiana Veterans Home.

Carol enjoyed bird watching, cooking, and flower gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Julia Ciampanelli of Sebring, FL; 3 siblings, Linda Mason of Lafayette, Mary (Francis) Howard of Maine, and Mike (Susan) Glass of Florida; 2 grandchildren, Connor Mitton and Kayla Mitton; and 2 great-grandchilden, Copelyn and Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Goldie Glass.

No services will be held.

Inurnment will be at Meadow View Cemetery in Lafayette.
