Thinking of you and the C. Potts family with sympathy
I met Carlton during Senior Games three or four years ago when my company, Addus Healthcare, sponsored the event. He became a dear friend and would stop by our office once in awhile to chat. Every year during Senior Games, we would have a picture taken together . . . pictures I will always cherish. I always enjoyed talking with Carlton about his years of running and his time in the war. In October 2008, Carlton came to the Just Walk event at the 4-H fairgrounds. At that event, my husband had the pleasure of meeting Carlton, too. I remember Carlton was excited to get his picture taken that day with Purdue Pete and I made him copies of the pictures. I also took photos of him last year at the Senior Games when he was named "Male Participant with the Most Medals". He was very honored to receive that certificate! Carlton always asked about my children and would call on occasion just to say "hi". What I will remember most about Carlton is his smile and his great sense of humor! I will miss him so much . . . espcially at the 2010 Senior Games! It will not be same without my friend! My condolences are with his entire family.
Sincerely,
Nicole Milks
