Carlos O. González, 82, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on June 28, 2024. Born in Tlaltenango de Sanchez Roman, Zacatecas, Mexico, Carlos lived a life filled with love, dedication, and a deep connection to his family and community.
Carlos is survived by his beloved wife, Esperanza González, and their children: Carlos(Martina), Cristina, Hilda(Alfredo), Bertha (Martin), Gonzalo (Patricia), Miguel (Raquel), Martha, Carina, and Salvador (Cindy). He was a proud grandfather to Carlos, Oscar, Stephanie, Daniel, Crystal, Carlos, Sara, Laura, Kathy, Miguel, Vanessa, Destiny, Anthony, Amber, Kristofer, and Camilita, and a great-grandfather to Anthony, Alexa, Liliana, Ariana, Katia, Amilia, Bella, Aubriana, Thiago, Ezra, Bryson, Mia, Elson, Isaac, and Delilah.
Carlos was known for his sharp dressing, love of gardening, music, dance, and the outdoors. His passion for animals and reading was evident throughout his life. He was a hardworking, respectful man who served as a great mentor, friend, husband, father, and grandfather. His legacy of dedication and love will continue to inspire those who knew him.
A commemorative service will be held on July 5 from 5-8pm at Soller Baker Funeral Home. Religious Mass will be held at St. Lawrence in Lafayette, IN. on July 6th at 10am. The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Carlos’ life and share his memories.
Carlos O. González will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Bisabuelo a Anthony, Alexa, Liliana, Ariana, Katia, Amilia, Bella, Aubriana, Thiago, Ezra, Bryson, Mia, Elson, Isaac y Delilah.
Carlos era conocido por su buen vestir, su amor por la jardinería, la música, el baile y estar al aire libre. Su pasión por los animales y la lectura fue evidente a lo largo de su vida. Era un hombre trabajador y respetuoso que sirvió como un gran mentor, amigo, marido, padre y abuelo. Su legado de dedicación y amor seguirá inspirando a aquellos que lo conocieron.
Se llevará a cabo un servicio conmemorativo el dia 5 de Julio de 5 a 8pm en Soller Baker Funeral Home. Misa religiosa se llevará acabo en La Iglesia St. Lawrence en Lafayette, IN. el dia 6 de Julio a las 10am. La familia invita a amigos y seres queridos a celebrar la vida de Carlos y compartir sus recuerdos.
