In Loving Memory of our beloved Carl
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Buchanan Jr. Carl passed away on Monday, February 5th at the age of 36 years of age.
Carl was an incredibly family-oriented kind person, known for his compassion, strong laughter, and profound ability to make others feel valued and appreciated. Carl touched the lives of many with his beautiful spirit and left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. A beacon of strength, facing life’s challenges with grace and dignity. His optimism inspired friends and family alike, leaving a legacy of perseverance. Whether offering a comforting word, a helping hand, or a listening ear, he had a unique ability to provide solace and support to those in need.
A devoted son, inspiring brother, and caring friend, Carl will be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, wisdom, and his love for his favorite Chicago Sports teams. (The Bears, Bulls, and Sox) He faced life’s challenges with strength and resilience and found joy in being the light around the people he loved.
Carl Buchanan is survived by his mother, Jeanette Anderson, his father Carl Buchanan Sr, and his siblings, who will continue to carry forward his legacy of love, kindness, and joy. The memories of Carl’s contagious laughter, smile, and warmth will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were privileged to share his journey. There are no goodbyes for us, you will forever be in our hearts.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 18th, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, February 19th 11:00 am at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel Lafayette, Indiana.
