My sincerest condolences to the family and loved ones of Carl! I am an old high school friend of Carl and he was also the best homecoming date to me! He had a beautiful, radiant spirit, with a wonderful smile who was always ahead of his time! I still remember some of the funniest jokes he would make in class to this day! I appreciated his sense of humor and all the great memories! His presence on Earth was truly a gift! *sincerely, Fawn

Thinking back Carl was a big part of my childhood. From the first time we met on the basketball court on badger ridge. He was the reason I got better at shooting with defense as he was about twice my size lol. I remember when he played football in high school and I was always kicking it with his little brother Marcus. Back when the first Xbox was out and his mom and grandma would have some soul food made the good old days. You will be missed Carl but never forgotten until we meet again fly high!

They say the lord puts people in your life for a season, to teach you lessons in life, I only wish this season could have lasted forever. You taught me kindness, patience, perseverance, and humility but most of all you taught me how to love myself for who I am. You stood by me through my worst and celebrated me at my best, and I thank God for every second of every day he allowed you to be in my life. I don't know what direction life will lead me from here, but I do know that I will continue to make you proud!!! I love you and already miss you so much ❤️
