Caleb Gibson, 32, a resident of Delphi, IN., passed away on August 23, 2026.

He was born in Lafayette on January 2, 1994, to Robin Kyburz, Sneads Ferry, North Carolina and Will Gibson, Delphi, Indiana.

He was a proud and hardworking welder who graduated into the welders’ union, an accomplishment that meant a great deal to him. Caleb took tremendous pride in his work.

He is survived by his children, Kaden and Kylen Gibson; his sister, Emily Jakes of Lafayette, Indiana; and his brother, Daniel Jakes of Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Caleb was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Nancy Teller; his uncle, Jimmy Teller; and his cousins, Marcus Teller and Davis Cripe.

Caleb will be remembered by those who loved him for his hard work, pride in his accomplishments, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway, West Lafayette, IN 47906. Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens following the service.
