Wayne Elliott, 74, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in his residence. He was born March 1, 1943, in, Cottage Hills, ILL to the late Hurless and Maggie Foster Elliott. On , July 22, 1963 he married Patricia Smith in Watseka,ILL and she passed away on November 30. 2015. Wayne worked for Green Giant, Meijer, and was a driver for Midland Meals. Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, and spending time with friends and family. Surviving are sons, Randy (Lisa) Elliott, and Tony (Gloria) Elliott, daughter, Shonda (Tom) McIntyre, special niece, Pennie Watkins, friend, Diana Burke, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren that he loved. He also has a very close sister in law, Bonnie Reeder. Wayne was preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde Elliott, Fred, Bill and Oscar Reeder, sisters, Wanda Wilson and Sharon Elliott. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with Pastor William Murdock officiating.
