Wow! There are no words to describe that I just found out that Bruce has passed away recently. Bruce and I were close friends during our high school years and for a few years afterwards before I moved away in 1972. In fact, Bruce was my best man at my wedding in 1970. Bruce, Walt Griffin, Mark Shortridge and I used to hang around together with a lot of fun times. Way too many stories to tell here. Cherished memories! Bruce always had a kind heart with a willing to help. Always had a grin on his face! Never really saw him in a bad mood or angry or mad. He just rolled with everything. RIP, Rick Van Meter

Carl & family, I’m so sorry for your loss. My family lived on S 20th St, not far from your family home. Bruce spent a lot of time at our house and playing in the neighbor hood. I have very found memories of those times. Bruce was always polite and great to be around. He had a great sense of humor and a laugh to go with it. It was a pleasure to have him in my life. My he Rest In Peace. MaryAnn

My deepest condolences to Bruce's family. Bruce and i were buddies in High school and graduated in 1967. Bruce and I also served in the same National Guard unit for 6 years. He was a good friend and we had many fun and crazy times together in High school and the Army. I will miss him.
