Brenda Sue Ross, 60, of Lafayette, passed away February 1, 2024, at her home.
She was born April 13, 1963, in Fort Collins, CO to the late Merrill A. and Katherine E. (Wilson) Ross. She was a 1981 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School and had a passion for and enjoyed her career in home construction and home painting, prior to her retirement.
Brenda enjoyed gardening, rock collecting, and the companionship of her dogs. Above all she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandbabies.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Chad (Darla) Pitts and Zach Pitts, both of Attica; 3 siblings, Curtis (Laurie) Ross of Remington, Karen Buchholz of Lafayette, and Bryan (Emilia) Ross of Westerville, OH; and 9 grandchildren, Layla, William, Cooper, Azalea, Atticus, Asa, Atlas, Hayden, and Skylar.
Along with her parents, Merrill and Katherine Ross, she was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Ross.
Brenda greatly appreciated all of the assistance and friendship she received from her caregivers.
Memorial contributions in Brenda’s name may be given to Brady Lane Church, 2701 Brady Lane, Lafayette, IN 47909.
A Memorial will be held from 12:00 pm (Noon) until 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Rush Pavilion, Columbian Park, 1915 Scott St., Lafayette, IN 47904.
Inurnment will be at Grand View Cemetery in Montrose, CO in early summer 2024.
