Bonnie K. Corwin, 81, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at IU Health Arnett Hospital.

She was born December 5, 1942, in Rensselaer, IN, to the late William and Viola (Nelson) Sanders.

On January 21, 1961, she married Harold G. Corwin Sr and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2014.

Bonnie worked as an operator for Ice Cream Specialties for over 30 years before retiring in 2008.

Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family and attending grandchildren’s sporting events, bowling, was an avid Purdue Basketball and Chicago Cubs fan.

Surviving is a daughter, Tammy (Denny) Hickman, son, Mike (Erin) Corwin, bonus daughter, Terri (Rick) Ross, special nephew, John (Patsy) FitzSimons, all of Lafayette and a step-daughter, Patty Howe of KY. Also surviving are grandchildren, Alicia Hickman and Derek Hickman, great granddaughters, Braelyn and Camryn Williams as well as several step grand and great grandchildren and extended family.

Bonnie was preceded in death by sisters, Sandra Funk, Sharon B. Saylor and Kathy Dewey, a brother, Jerry Sanders and a step-son, Harold Corwin Jr.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 21, 2024 also at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.  Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, IN.
