Beverly R. Moore, 92, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Creasy Springs Health Campus.  She was born December 12, 1933, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Harry and Libbie (Nicewander) Egelhoff.

Beverly graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1951 and Ivy Tech.   On July 13, 1953, she married Byrns E. Moore Jr.  in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2013.

Beverly was a nurse’s aide and Qualified Medical Assistant and had work in the NICU at St. Elzabeth Hospital and Regency Place in Lafayette.  She was a member of Eagles and served as President and Secretary.  She was also a member of the 40 & 8.  Beverly enjoyed crocheting, quilting, bowling, bingo and gardening.

Surviving are her children Ruth Ann (Randy) Scott of Lafayette, Deborah Young of Colfax, William Moore and Edward F. Moore both of Lafayette.  Also surviving are grandchildren Tonya Arnold, Eric Funk, Latasha Moore, Bradley Moore, Levi Moore, Justin Moore and 6 great grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Jean Moore, siblings Loretta Shedron, Mary Reece, Harry W. Egelhoff, Robert Lee Egelhoff and a grandson Brian Funk.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.  Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, IN.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Cancer Society in Beverly’s memory.
