Bernice A. Pellam, 81, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
She was born May 17, 1941, in Lafayette, to the late Marvin and Lorna (Shaw) Pellam.
Bernice graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1959.
Bernice worked as an operator for General Telephone for over 30 years before retiring. She later went to work for CDK Refrigeration and worked another 5 years as a secretary before retiring a second time.
Bernice loved going fishing and woodworking.
Surviving are two sisters, Sarah Adams of NC and Marie Myers of Mulberry, a brother, Frank (wife Loretta) Pellam of Poland, IN and her best friend Sue Jackson of Lafayette. Also surviving are several very special nephews and nieces.
Bernice was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Pellam, and a sister, Ethel Keifer.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Pastor Kevin Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Fairhaven Cemetery, Mulberry, IN.
