Barbara Jean Trout, 84, of Lafayette, passed away at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at St. Anthony Health Care.
She was born July 8, 1931, in Lafayette, to the late James E. Smith and Levina Vincent Humphrey.
Barb was proceeded in death by her husband, Henry “Hank” Ford Trout, whom she married August 15th, 1948. She is survived by her beloved furry companion Punkey.
Surviving are a daughter, Pamela Hardebeck (husband Dennis) of West Lafayette, a sister, Mary Lou Anderson (husband Ralph) of Bedford, two granddaughters, Tracy Glenn (husband Tom) of DeMotte and Cassie Stabnik (husband Joseph) of Rensselaer along with five great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Evan Glenn, and Conor, Noah and Mason Stabnik.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Monday, December 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 22nd at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909 with Pastor Joseph Park Jr officiating. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
