Anthony “Tony” L. Grimes

September 14, 1958 - July 22, 2023

Anthony ”Tony” L. Grimes, 64, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at IU Health Arnett Hospital.  He was born September 14, 1958, in Lafayette to the late Garland “Lee” and Mary  (Dill) Grimes.  Anthony graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School. In 1989 he married Cindy Ritenour Dexter in Monticello, and she preceded him in death in 2020.

Anthony worked as a self employed electrician in Lafayette for several years and had prvioulsy worked for F&S Williams.  He was a member of the Americal Legion.  Anthony enjoyed fishing in Wisconsin, and flying his drone.  Surviving are his step daughters Jaime Kerr and Dusti Dexter, both of Lafayette.   Private services will be held.  Memorial donations can be made to the American Legion Post 11.
