When I learned of Tony&s passing I was very sad. Tony was a great person and a true gentleman! Not only did I get to spend many memorable moments around Tony, Waite and Kurt during the times he visited Houston for the family golfing event but I got to know Tony very well when he spent a few weeks in Houston following his back surgery in 2006 when I was living with Waite at the House on Laurel Caverns. This is when I really got to know Tony as we were essentially roomate&s for a short period of time. Tony was a giving person always looking out as I remember Tony giving me tips and advice in regards to marketing ideas when I was starting my business back then. I know for a fact that his great sense of personality and humor will be greatly missed by all those he touched.
Rest assured, Tony is in a better place now and in good hands!
God Bless and my regrets,

While we leave this earth in body, the lives we have touched while we were here will always be remembered. I personally have enjoyed bowling with Tony as part of our league and while his legacy may not have been bowling, we had many laughs while he was around.
With deepest sympathy,
Don Retherford

Tony was a caring friend who worked hard for all his clients and customers. He would often go beyond the requirements of his job to follow up on questions and worked to get solid understandable answers that would solve problems.
He was always fun to be around, a wonderful addition to any gathering.
Photographers, as a group, especially members of professional associations, tend to develop close relationships very much like members of a family. Tony was very much part of each of our families.
He will be greatly missed.

I am so very sorry to hear of the untimely passing of Tony. Tony has been a good friend ever since your family moved to Lafayette in the 1970&s. The times spent at your house with Tony and your family during our high school days will always be some of my fondest memories. Tony&s jovial and outgoing personality was a signature trait given to him by his loving family and happy surroundings. He was fortunate to have such a loving family and we were all fortunate to have had Tony in our lives enriching our life experiences.
I was fortunate enough to spend a great weekend with Tony at our reunion this summer and to laugh again over all the great times we shared while in high school. I certainly expected to spend many more good times with Tony, but that will have to wait for another day in another place. I am very happy to see that Father Dan will be officiating over Tony&s funeral, as he is the one priest who shares Tony&s outgoing personality and jovial outlook.
May God be with you and your family during this difficult time and bring you peace and comfort, knowing that Tony has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior. My thoughts and prayers are with you as well, while we remember all the wonderful times spent with Tony.
Sincerely,
Mark Wastl

It was with great sadness I heard of Tony&s passing. Though I only knew him as Chuck&s older brother, Tony was never without a kind word. I&m truly sorry he was taken from you at such a young age.
Saying good-bye to a loved one is extremely difficult, but trust that one day his memory will only bring you joy.
My thoughts are with all of you, but especially Tony&s parents who must be enduring the most difficult role imaginable to parents. May your love for Tony be your guidance through this difficult time.

I graduated with Tony and feel bleesed to have seen him at our Reunion in August. He was a wonderful and caring individual. When I think of him all I see is that wonderful smile of his.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.
May god bless!

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Tony a few times through Waite and my sister when he came to visit Waite in Kingwood. Tony kept me laughing nonstop even after his back surgery when he was recovering and uncomfortable. I even remember a trip to the grocery store and helping Tony pick up a few items he needed - even then he kept me laughing in HEB. He had a contagious laugh and an unstoppable sense of humor. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to know Tony. I wish I could have spent more time with him and shared more laughs.
Love,
Tiffany (Coop&s sister)
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning&s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Dear Gene and Norma and family,
We offer our most sincere sympathy and are so sorry.
May God Bless you,

I was luckly enough to spend a short time with Tony this summer at the 1979 Class Reunion. Tony recognized me first and it was so great to see him. It had been a long time. Tony was a great guy in 1979 and was still the same in 2009.
This is a time of great sorrow for many of my former classmates. Tony was one of "those guys", the one you always remember as a friend, even 30 years on.
He will missed. He was one of the great ones.
May God hold you in his comforting hand during this difficult time.
