Anna (Kopf) Rogers, 75, of Lafayette, passed away at St. Mary’s Health Care in Lafayette on November 20th, 2023.

She was born September 26, 1948, in Lafayette, to the late Eugene R. “Dick” and Doris May (Martin) Kopf. She was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. Anna was always a people person and enjoyed meeting new people. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, family as well as breeding and raising cocker spaniels. Anna held many jobs in the hospitality and service Industry which included being a toll-collector for the Maryland Department of Transportation and serving ice cream at Creekside Creamery in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. She also worked as a cashier at Home Depot and at Dollar Tree in Lafayette, IN

For many years, Anna hosted visiting university students from many diverse places and cultures. She enjoyed providing a home away from home for her beloved students. The energy, friendship and

accomplishments of her students inspired her. Many of her students remained in contact after their time in school had ended and had become lifelong friends.

She is survived by her children, Michelle David of Abilene, TX, Jeffrey (Dawn) David of San Antonio, TX, Amanda Fair of Orlando, FL, and April Rogers of Dania Beach, FL; a brother, Eugene R. (Katrina) Kopf of Lafayette; sister-in-law, Cheryl Kopf of Lafayette; many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren; and her Cocker Spaniel, Bella.

Along with her parents, Dick, and Doris Kopf, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul L. Kopf, a sister, Nancy L. Kopf, her loving husband of over 30 years, Jim Rogers, and a son, Brady Rogers.

Memorial contributions in Anna’s name may be given to Natalie’s Second Chance Dog Shelter in Lafayette.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909 with Rev. Joseph Park, Jr. officiating.

Anna asked that everyone wear some form of purple as that is her favorite color.

I am sorry to hear about Anna a lot of times she was a fun sister -in - law Nancy and her and used to go shopping together we would usually spend the the whole afternoon out shopping and eating at different places. And used to play euchre a long time ago.
