Ann Marie Kaldahl, born on September 13, 1934, in Gary, Indiana, passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 90. She was the daughter of Vivian and Cecil Hochbaum. Ann is preceded in death by the love of her life Donald W. Kaldahl.
Ann leaves a legacy of Faith and Family. Ann’s faith was the foundation of her life, which allowed her to show a graceful and honorable way of dealing with life after health setbacks. She never lost her wit or ability to find the good in a situation. Ann’s calm and easy demeanor was a trademark of who she was and how she showed her faith to the world. She exemplified the Christian values she cherished and left everyone better for knowing her.
Ann’s family was a source of pride for her. She started her family as a stay-at-home mother before going into the workforce to help provide for her growing family. Ann was always busy with something yet never seemed unable to help a family member in need. Ann leaves behind her 9 children, 33 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren; all of whom she exemplified the heart of a servant and love. Ann’s always wanted her kids and family to be together and unified.
Per Ann’s request, she will be cremated and have private services.
