Angelina “Mekmek” Anog's greatest achievement in life were her children and grandchildren. To her grandchildren, she imparted the purest love of a grandmother. She taught them how to read at an early age, how to speak the Filipino language, the extended family culture, and the hospitality of offering food to anyone who comes to the house. To her children, she gave the most unselfish sacrifice of a mother who did everything and anything for their success and comfort. She liked riding her tricycle, walking with her arm and leg weights, and watching professional wrestling. She is survived by her daughter Arlina (West Lafayette), son Arnold and daughter in law Monica (Philippines), and her awesome grandchildren Isabella Louise, Samantha Denise, Kenneth Allen, and Kendra Angelise. She was preceded to eternal life by her most amazing husband Aurelio in 2003, her youngest son, Arman in 1995, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. A funeral mass is scheduled on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11 am followed by visitation and a small luncheon at Church of the Blessed Sacrament, West Lafayette, IN where she has been attending since 2009.
