Andrew R. Clayton, 34, of Little Rock, AR, died at 10:48 PM Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
He was born September 5, 1976, in Madison, WI, to Dr. Donald and Melinda Randall Clayton of Lafayette.
He received his BS from Purdue University in History.
His marriage was to Elizabeth Guyette and she survives.
He enjoyed hiking, camping, was an avid historian of rock and jazz music, worked with Americorp and did mission work in Haiti. he was a master of social networking with friends from all over the world and was a loving father, husband and son and brother.
Surviving along with his wife and parents is a daughter Sophia Josephine Clayton of Little Rock, AR; a sister Marissa Buche (husband Andrew) of Lafayette a brother Thomas R. Clayton of Lafayette, his grandparents Donald F. and Patricia Clayton of West Lafayette and special friends Tom and Maryann Guyette of Little Rock, AR.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm with Scripture service at 7:30 pm Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with a funeral mass at 10:00 am Thursday, April 21, 2011 at St Lawrence Catholic Church 1916 Meharry St Lafayette, IN 47904 with Fr. Bob Klemme officiating.

Dear Don and Mindy: There are never words to comfort the loss of your child. My children, Ryan and Jennifer and myself visited you In Madison. You woke me up in the middle of the night as you were making a trip to the ER. I still have a photo of all the kids in the bathtub. We just want to say how sorry we were to hear about Andrew&s passing. We live right next door to him in Little Rock. We didn&t really talk very much but we waved and chatted on occasion. We saw him walking in the neighborhood with his little girl alot. If there is anything that we can do for the family, please let us know.

I enjoyed getting to know Drew when we were in high school, particularly during practice for the school play. He always knew how to make everyone laugh. I am so very sorry for your loss.
