Amos C. Miller, 91, of Mulberry, died at 7:55 AM Monday, November 30, 2015 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community. He was born April 22, 1924, in Bayfield, WI, to the late Benjamin and Ellen Miller. He graduated from Fertile High School in 1942 and went on to serve in the United States Army from 1943 to 1945. On February 2, 1946 he married Irene Heinbach in Pine Grove, PA. She preceded him in death. Amos was the owner of Miller Auto Care in Carmel, IN for 20 years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of Lafayette Church of Christ, the American Legion Post 11, and the NRA. He enjoyed working, Bible study, working with computers , and exercising. Surviving are a son, Randy Miller (wife Deborah) of Lafayette, son, Galen Miller (wife Charlotte) of FL, a daughter, Cynthia Adams (husband Phillip) of Cookeville, TN, a sister, Viola Roberts of Fertile, IA, and a brother, Orland Miller of Hot Springs, SD. Amos has 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Ellen Miller 3 sisters, 4 brothers, a step grandson, and a great grandson. Visitation will be 12:30 until the service begins at 1:30 PM Saturday, December 5, 2015 both at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909.
