Alvaro “Alvi” Ventureño-López, 49, of Lafayette died Sunday December 27, 2020 at Franciscan Health of Indianapolis.

Alvi was born February 14, 1971 in Jesús Maria S.R., ZAC, Mexico to Antonio Ventureño and Maria R. Lopez. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Los Ángeles, CA before moving to Indiana. Alvi worked as a team member at McDonald’s on Veterans Memorial Parkway and Old 231 in Lafayette.  He always had a smile and kind words for every customer. He was a huge fan of the MLB, his favorite team was the LA Dodgers. He also loved to watch soccer, which he was and is the number one fan of the soccer team Club America. He was loved by all who knew him and was the best brother and son. He was a “cane” for his parents, who relied on him tremendously.

Alvi is survived by the Ventureño family. His parents Antonio and Maria, his son Israel, his siblings Ma. Elena, Martin, Sonia, and Joel. As well as  many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Monday, January 4, 2021 at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.

A private family Mass will be held.

Current COVID-19 regulations are in place and masks and social distancing are required.

Álvaro “Alvi” Ventureño-López, 49 de Lafayette falleció Domingo 27 de Diciembre del 2020 en Franciscan Health de Indianapolis. Álvaro Nació el 14 de Febrero del 1971 en Jesús Maria S.R., ZAC, Mexico sus padres son Antonio Ventureño y Maria R. López. Se graduó de Thomas Jefferson Highschool en Los Ángeles, CA antes de que se vino a vivir en Indiana. Alvi trabajo como un miembro en el equipo de McDonald’s en Veterans Memorial Parkway y Old 231 en Lafayette. El siempre era muy sonriente y bueno con cada uno de los clientes. Siempre fue un gran admirador de el béisbol, su equipo favorito eran los Los Ángeles Dodgers. También le encantaba ver fútbol, el era y es el número uno fanatico del equipo Club America. Era muy querido por todos los que lo conocían, el era el mejor hijo y mejor hermano. Un verdadero Campeón. Fue un gran apoyo para sus padres, que dependían de el tremendamente. Lo sobreviven la familia Ventureño que incluye: sus padres Antonio y Carmen, su hijo Israel, sus hermanos y hermanas Ma. Elena, Martin, Sonia, y Joel. También muchos tíos, tías, sobrinos y sobrinas, primos y amigos.

Visitación será de las 4pm hasta las 7pm, Lunes 4 de Enero del 2021, en Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.

La misa será privada para la familia.
