Allen Wayne Bratcher, 58, of Veedersburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born August 3, 1965, in Altus, OK, to Thomas and Linda Sue (Gray) Bratcher of West Lafayette and they survive.
Allen worked as a welder and in construction before becoming disabled.
He was a member of Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Sons of the American Legion Post # 492 and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Unit 27.
Allen enjoyed leather work and collecting coins.
Surviving with his parents are a son, Christopher Allen Bratcher, a sister, Mary Ann (companion Kevin Bachelder) Bratcher of Battle Ground and three granddaughters, Ryliegh, Braelynn Marie and Trinity all of Veedersburg. Two nieces, Carin Ham (Josh Waldridge) of Lafayette and Heather Ham Springs (Tony Springs) of West Lafayette, three nephews, Joshua Damman of Delphi, Anthony Damman of West Lafayette and James Ham of Greenwood. Two great nieces, Lennox and Xiomara, three great nephews Joel, Nikota, and Fox.
Allen was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph P. Bratcher.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 2224 Sacramento Drive, West Lafayette, with Father Daniel Shine officiating. Interment will follow at Meadow View Cemetery in Lafayette.
