Your Sister, Claudia left a message on September 20, 2023:
Dearest Brother, It has been over a month since you left us and I miss you so much. I am so proud of you for the humble walk you maintain with Parkinson. You never shared your heart aches outwardly and carried that beautiful smile on your face. I remember the last time we all gathered at Pris's house and you had fallen. We new then, you were growing week, but never believed God would take you soon. My human self wants you so desperately back, my eternal heart knows you are with Mom, Dad and many more in a better place. We all keep in touch with Sandy, as she misses you so much. The love you two shared was undeniably seen and felt. We will always keep Sandy close to us, as we are sure would be your wishes. Your kids were so blessed to have you for their dad, as your upstanding integrity was demonstrated to them well. I Love you Dear brother and miss you so much. ?

My deepest condolences to Al’s family and many friends, I had the opportunity to spend many hours with Al in the Rock Steady boxing program as therapy for Parkinson’s. I enjoyed Al’s enthusiasm for life, his persistent well expressed humor and his friendship. He will be missed by many.

I remember when Ben and I had lunch with you and Al at the lake when we attended the Storey Reunion in Delphi, Ind. I am so glad that we had the opportunity to be with you and visit. That has been several years ago but I have often remembered that occasion with much pleasure.
