Dear Margaret Overhauser,
It is with great sadness that I received the news on Professor Overhauser. I will never forget the hours of discussion in his office. Al&s teaching went far and beyond. He showed me how to find Virgin Mary and her miracles in life, for instance.
A great man, professor and a friend that I will always remember with respect.
Please accept our condolences. My father (84) commented how much the new Professor Overhauser from my stories and admiration comments on him. It was an honor to work for him and be one of his students.
I still remember fresh in my mind when I met him and when I asked if I could become one of his students. This and many more episodes that will always remind me how much I admired him.
