Aaron D. Warford, 52, of Spanish Fort, AL, formerly of Lafayette died Friday, January 2, 2015 in Spanish Fort, AL. He was born December 13, 1962, in Lafayette to Sharron (Warford) Alexander of Romney and the late Raymond Warford. Aaron had attended Harrison High School and was a freight driver for FEDEX Freight for 21 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley and watching football and basketball. His great joy was spending time with his family, children and grandchildren. Aaron was proud of his Native American heritage and was a member of the Cherokee Nation. He loved growing closer to the Lord everyday and spreading the Word of God to others. Surviving are his children Brooke M. Vermilya (Ryan) of West Point, Samantha R. Cappello (Michael) of Indianapolis, Hilary N. Warford of Lafayette, Aaron Cole Warford (Haley) of Lafayette and grandchildren Ashton, Beckam, Aubrey and Eliana. Also surviving are his sisters Marcia Mitchell (Monty) of Shadeland, Reva Lohorn (Scott) of Lafayette, brothers Dana Warford (Angie) of Conroe, TX and Eric Warford (Tisha) of Wagoner, OK. Aaron was preceded in death by a brother Anthony “Tony” Warford. Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Pastor Tom Camp officiating. Burial will be in Adair, OK.
