Timothy J. Farner

Timothy J. Farner, 61, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 3, 1961, in Lafayette, to the late John and Beatrice (Wagner) Farner.

He was a 1979 graduate of McCutcheon High School and worked as a Laborer for the Local Laborers Union for many years.  On April 1, 2019, he married Carol J. Brownfield in Lafayette, she survives.

Timothy enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed going on spontaneous trips with Carol.

Along with his wife, Carol J. Farner of Lafayette, he is survived by his 2 daughters, Heather (Zach) Megnin and Courtney (Justin) Freeman; 5 sisters, Terry (Roger) Jarrett, Twyla Farner, Robin (Allen) Markwith, Pamela (Sam) Woodard, and Jackie Letson; 5 grandchildren, McKenzie (Elijah) Littrell, Dakota (Cassie) Fields, Joey Kawlewski, Lauren Kawlewski, and Keighleb Foreman; as well as 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. Farner and Beatrice B. Johnson; sister, Denise Hart; brother, Jon Letson; step-daughter, Tara Jean Hall; and son-in-law, Joe Kawlewski.

Memorial contributions in Timothy’s name may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.
