We were sad to hear of Sandra's passing. We have a special love and pride knowing Jerry and Sandy while they lived here on St. Simons Island, GA. They both were part of a wonderful weekly Thursday night Bible Study Group. There were five couples and we all enjoyed each other and were blessed to share and study God's Word. Sandra and I (Barbara) worked together putting the church library together, we call it God's Library. We had fun times and were truly blessed with that task. We will miss her but are thankful her suffering is over, and she is with the Lord! Sandra was a dear friend and a wonderful blessing to us. We send our deepest Symphony and Condolences! God Bless You Jerry and the family as well.

Forgot to mention one more thing. In all the years that we had Bible study, one topic was always utmost in Sandy's prayer requests. She prayed for her kids nearly every week!

To Jerry and family, Sorry for your loss, but I'm joyful because knowing Christ as her Savior, she is now rejoicing with the other saints. Through many years of Bible study and prayer, we got to know your mom, grandma and great grandma very well. She had a tender heart for the Lord and His word! Jerry, Sandy, Patti and I would get together for golf occasionally (when her back permitted), Both couples were members of the Elks then, so we could play 9 holes, or 3 holes, or whatever we felt like. But I remember one evening very well. We were on hole #8, a short par 3 over the river. Jerry and I had hit already and or shots were probably on or near the green. Patti also had teed off, now time for Sandy. She took a deliberate practice swing and then stepped up to the ball. She dribbled one down the fairway (not a pretty shot), and we were all thinking "stop, don't go in the creek!" It didn't, the ball continued bouncing down the fairway, into the rough, bouncing along, hopped over the creek toward the green, went onto the putting surface and hit the flag going 15 mph. While the flag reverberated wildly, the ball dropped right down into the cup for an ace, Of course, Sandy was thrilled and started yelling wildly. Jerry and I were shocked. So, for the next couple of years, whenever Jerry or I would get 'out-of-line', she would say "everyone that has had a hole-in-one raise your hands." Patti had had one earlier, so only the 2 of them could raise their hands. Jerry and I would look sheepishly on, hoping that one day, the fickly-finger-of-fate would visit us. The luckiest golf shot I had ever seen, but is was an ace! I hope in a time of sorrow, that this little story about Sandy, mom or grandma, lightens the load a bit. Psalm 8 Dan Clark

Praying for peace and comfort during this difficult time. I have 2 lovely memories of your mom. Our dinner at the Irish pub in downtown Savannah and attending the PMO Christmas show together.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We didn’t know her real well, but we definitely witnessed the light of Christ that radiated through her heart and soul to us and so many others! Although she will be missed here on earth, we look on with excitement, anticipation, and hope of spending eternity with her.
