Ruth A. Bishop, 72, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Majestic Care in Lafyette.  She was born December 6, 1951, in Francesville, IN, to the late Donald and Marion (Ringin) Tiede.

Ruth graduated from Medaryville High School in Medaryville.  On January 3, 1985, she married Wilbur J. Bishop in Lafayette and he preceded her in death.

She enjoyed fishing with her husband and her only grandson. Ruth traveled all over the country with her son to numerous motorsports events.

Surviving is her son Albert Cadwallader of Lafayette and grandson Cody Bishop of GA and a sister.  She was preceded in death by 4 brothers.  No service is planned at this time.
