Kenny & Sheryl saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. Rejoicing he has joined his Bride, your Mom. What a great reunion to be together again. Your Dad showed great stewardship and a solid rock in his love for his family. I have fond memories of our family gatherings in Fowler and Lafayette. I truly looked forward to seeing all of you at the Robbins reunions. Love to all. Marietta

Ken, Sheryl and families, My deepest condolences for the passing of your father. He and your mom were certainly special to my family. They visited my folks on the farm and in the assisted living home on a regular basis. I remember so many family get togethers on Sunday afternoons as I was growing up. We were like one big family. Your dad called me Vivee. That made me feel special. He was a special guy for sure.

Dear Sheryl and Ken, I was saddened to hear of your dad's passing and my deepest condolences go out to you and your families. Both your parents were a tremendous blessing to our young family and they will always be remembered as adopted grand parents to the kids. Unfortunately, I am in Florida avoiding the Indiana winter and will not be able to attend the visitation and service. Just remember that your Dad is part of who you are, of how you see the world, and how you live and give. Those priceless gifts are yours forever. May God bless you during this time of mourning. Our deepest sympathies to Sheryl, Ken and their families. Roy was such an important influence for me as I grew up as the ‘baby brother.’ His loving relationship with June was a model for my relationship with Susanna. Their warm welcoming of her into the family was so important. Watching Roy’s way of gentle parenting was so influential to me as well. He was so proud of his family. He leaves an influence for all of us to carry forward. Love to all. Paul and Susanna.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Roy was an amazing man and I felt blessed to have him in my life. Growing up in the house across the street from Roy and June was like having another set of grandparents. They kept Barbi’s, blocks, and games in the house for play dates. But I also remember being outside helping Roy pick up trimmings from the shrubs or sweeping out the garage, which was already spotless. He just knew we wanted to help sweep. After my dads parents passed away we were sorting through their belongings. At the time I didn’t know, but your parents saved my grandma’s sewing cabinet at there house for four years until my sixteenth birthday. I was so shocked when Roy brought it over to the house. I still have that cabinet in my own home. I’m sorry I can’t be with you at the funeral today, but please know how much I will always cherish my memories. Roy helped so many people and touched all of our hearts. He will be missed. ?❤️ God’s Blessing and prayers as you grieve his loss. I hope some of your cherished memories help you through this difficult time. Sincerely, Wendy Davidson-Watson

Mr Roy Fitzgerald was the trusted, talented, capable, and kind property manager at Delta Gamma Sorority at Purdue for over 20 years. Roy knew the DG House, every nook and cranny, better than any other person. Generations of DG students remember Roy for his ability to fix anything and for how kind and friendly he was while doing it. He retired from Delta Gamma in the 2015/16 academic year. He was then and will be now greatly missed. He was a one in a million friend and property care advisor!

So sorry I probably won't be able to attend because of weather and my circumstances here at home. Just know how much I have always loved Roy. To say he had a kind heart would be an understatement. My love to all of you. Violet

My Dad's hands.........Tuesday I was holding Dad's hand and once again I put my hand up next to his and hoped that would be the day that my hands were as big as his. Not yet......I always put my hand up to Dad's and hoped that they would grow to be the hands he had. Strong to build a house for us, skilled to work to provide for us, gentle to comfort us and always reaching out to help someone. My hands have a long way to go. I will still wake up and picture those hands and hope that each day my hands grow to be stronger, more skillful and ever gentle. Endearing Love, Ken

Dad was the best father-in-law that I could have had. He was the father I never had and wished for. He always had a smile. He was the kindest man I've ever known. I will miss him terribly. I was so happy to become part of this beautiful family.
